Book review: Miniscapes

Idiot-proof.

I once made a terrarium with a friend. She brought over a kit and showed me the ropes.

It was easy, beautiful and featured adorable mini people, but it also died pretty quickly (I forgot you actually have to water plants). Then I came across Miniscapes.

It promised to teach me the skills to maintain a healthy, happy terrarium. Naturally (pardon the pun), I was sold.

Although I’m yet to actually try to build another terrarium, I’m still impressed with Clea Cregan’s hardback. It’s made up of pastel pretty colours, clever photography and idiot-proof guides.

Perfect for those not-so-bright people who forget plants need water.
