Sustainable labels only.

Words by

Veronica Stanford

Sustainability in fashion is stupidly important, so it’s about time it got its own runway.

Lush Terrain is happening as part of VAMFF’s Offsite Runway series and will see five sustainable labels present their individual collections.

Expect to see upcycled pieces, recycled fabrics, zero-waste patternmaking and organic materials, with a focus on wearability and style.

Unsurprising, given the lineup is a goodie. Designers showcasing include Cadia Belante, Gehrich, Surrender Yoga, EDITION by Alice Sutton and Heidi Hibberd.

It’s all taking place at the Fitzroy Conservatory (fitting) on March 2.
