Converse releases new lightweight knit sneakers

A kaleidoscope of colours.

We may be in the middle of autumn but the rest of the world is enjoying spring and getting themselves ready for festival season. Which means comfortable and cool shoes are in high demand.

So Converse has dropped the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II Knit Collection: a new line of high and low tops, made from tightly interwoven knit material. The collection is inspired by the spirit of music festivals and the kaleidoscope of light shows that come with them.

These bad boys launch today in Volt Green, Roadtrip Blue, Red, White, and Spray Paint Blue.

They do give off a wintery vibe, with the charcoal hues and the electric blues. So, yes, even if you are stuck in rainy old Melbourne, you can still rock them. They’re transeasonal to say the least.

You can get yourself a pair for $130, exclusively from converse.com.au, the Converse Melbourne Central Flagship Store and selected Hype DC, Platypus Shoes and Foot Locker stores.
