Balenciaga collaborated with Crocs and our eyes are burning
Terrifying.
Balenciaga has collaborated with Crocs and we don’t know what the world is coming to.
The shoe, previously reserved for people who have lost control of their lives and middle-aged gardeners, made its way down the runway as part of Balenciaga’s Spring 2018 collection.
‘The Foam’ comes in multiple colourways and features a high, ankle-breaking platform to give the shoe added height.
It also includes a set of customisable Balenciaga pins on the perforated upper, which unfortunately do not help the design become any more appealing.
It’s all thanks to the work of Balenciaga’s new creative director Demna Gvasalia, who is also the head designer of Vetements.
Somehow, it’s not the first time a designer has collaborated with Crocs. Let’s hope it will be the last.
