We always look forward to the MBFWA Innovators show and yesterday’s runway didn’t disappoint.

The showcase presented works from seven Fashion Design Studio students from TAFE NSW. Amelia Akle, EWOL, Ann Xiao, CASEA, Handsy Swimwear, Richard Giang and YOHANA all formed the lineup.

As expected, designs were exciting, providing a look at Australia’s emerging talent and straying from more conventional trends.

REDKEN 5TH AVENUE NYC took care of the hairstyling backstage, suitably giving models intricate braided ponytails. Makeup was fresh and dewy, with the Cameron Jane team elevating the look with a copper eye and subtle contouring.
