We are seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Marketing Manager. Based in the Brisbane Head Office and reporting to the Head of Marketing & Digital, the Marketing Manager is responsible for the development and execution of branding and marketing initiatives including campaigns, partnerships, activations and much much more.

Responsibilities & Duties include:

  • Manage the roll-out of branding and marketing initiatives; including campaigns, partnerships, activations, staff nights and more
  • Development and implementation of marketing strategies focused on driving customer acquisition, continued engagement and loyalty
  • Creation of, and adherence to, effective and efficient Marketing budgets in collaboration with Head of Marketing & Digital
  • Work closely with the Design and E-Commerce teams to ensure successful integrated campaigns and consistency of all branding & communications across all mediums and channels
  • Ensure strength & viability of the Universal Store brand positioning as a relevant, aspirational (yet accessible), top-of-mind, youth fashion destination
  • Provide analysis & evaluation of key marketing and branding strategies
  • Demonstrate detailed financial benefits to support changes and validate decisions
  • Effectively lead the Marketing team and provide development and coaching to Marketing Coordinators
  • Live the values of the Universal Store culture

The successful applicant must have:

  • Have demonstrated experience (minimum 4 years) in a similar role showing the ablilty to develop and execute innovative and integrated marketing strategies in a multi-channel retail environment

  • Have exceptional understanding of CRM
  • Have the ability to excel in a professional and collaborative environment
  • Have demonstrated experience managing a marketing team

The Marketing Manager will work closely with all areas of the business (particularly with the Buying, Operations and existing Digital and Design groups). The successful candidate will be an innovative self-starter, yet thrive in a truly collaborative environment. You will be a lateral, quality thinker, demonstrate a high attention to detail, unrivaled organisational skills and obviously have exceptional communications skills.
