Charlotte Tilbury is launching a fragrance designed to make you more attractive

Prepare for feels.

Brilliant news everyone. MUA to the stars and creator of all that is holy and luminous, Charlotte Tilbury, is releasing a fragrance.

It’s called Scent of a Dream and we imagine it smells a little something like cheeky winks, numbers on napkins and flirty banter.

We say this because, aside from smelling good, Scent of a Dream was designed to make you more attractive.

The fragrance is based on the premise that the part of the brain responsible for smell is directly linked to the limbic system. This is the complex system of nerves and networks in the brain, responsible for our emotions, moods and drives.

Charlotte described it like this:

“I believe you can use Scent of a Dream to create an emotional pathway with someone else’s energy centres: their brain, heart and sex receptors, igniting the senses. You can directly alter their state of mind and body through this scent.”

Ho. ly. shit. Note to self: wear on first date.

Charlotte continued.

“I have been mixing my own secret scent for years and have been fascinated by the idea that one’s perfume can attract others and also change the energy frequency of the people and environment around you.”

Well, here’s hoping.

The formula is a blend of top notes including lemon, peach and black pepper; erotic floral heart notes like rose and jasmine; and a base that features psychoactive notes such as fire tree. It also uses synthetic compound,  Hedione, which reacts with the body’s own pheromones and has a proven neurological effect.

According to Charlotte, it actually does effect people. Apparently, Charlotte has been chased through airports and into bathrooms by women and men desperate to know the name of her perfume.

Sadly (heartbreakingly) Scent of a Dream is unavailable here in Aus, due to shipping restrictions classing fragrance as a hazardous material.
